About Us
Where it all began...
I grew up in India surrounded by nature, where flowers always brought me a sense of calm and belonging.
Life eventually grew busy, and my focus shifted to supporting my family. After moving to Canada in 2006, I worked through those early years while quietly holding onto my love for flowers. That passion resurfaced after completing a one-year Floral Design course, leading me to start working as a home-based florist in 2022.
Creating bouquets and arrangements has been incredibly rewarding, and my commitment in reducing floral waste guided me towards preservation in early 2023.

Our Purpose
HOW WE BECAME A ZERO WASTE BUSINESS
Adapting my business to a zero-waste philosophy was a challenge I chose to take on. My purpose and vision were clear, but understanding how to get there took time, research, and perseverance. My first attempt at preservation—using flowers from my own garden—was a disaster, and many blooms were sadly lost. Through many trials and lessons, I slowly began getting closer to the results I was hoping for.
The next step was figuring out how to give these preserved flowers a new life. As an ode to where it all began, I wanted to give back to nature—and what better symbol than a hummingbird.

My very first attempt at creating art using preserved petals.
Moving Forward

Preservation is our way of honoring nature’s beauty without waste, allowing flowers to continue telling their story.
The hummingbird was just the beginning. I continue to create arrangements and bouquets for everyday and special occasions, along with floral keepsakes—because flowers deserve more than a fleeting moment. I currently offer bridal bouquet preservation and a limited number of custom floral art commissions.
